RULES AND REGULATIONS GOVERNING THE USE OF THE SWIMMING POOL

The purpose of the Sewickley Heights Manor Swimming Pool Rules and Regulations is to promote a pleasant and safe pool atmosphere for all residents and their guests. It is the responsibility of all Sewickley Heights Manor residents to be familiar with and abide by these Rules and Regulations. A resident is defined as a person permanently residing full

    time in a unit.

EVERYONE USING THE POOL DOES SO AT HIS/HER OWN RISK

    AND ASSUMES SOLE RESPONSIBILITY

    I. POOL REGISTRATION

A.Each person permanently residing in the unit shall be entitled to use the pool upon completing and returning the pool registration to the SHMHA office manager or pool monitor. Providing false registration information is a violation of the pool rules and may subject the entire household to the loss of pool privileges for a to-be determined period of time. Any questionable registration will not be processed until reviewed by the Recreation Committee.

    B. All adult and minor residents of each unit shall be registered, and registration is not transferable. Proof of residency may be required and is subject to review by the Recreation Committee. Proof of residency requirement could be but is not limited to a valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License or a utility bill in the registrant’s name verifying the SHMHA address on the registration sheet. Registration for the household is not complete until proof of questionable residency is resolved by the Recreation Committee/Office/Board of Directors. No one from the household will be admitted until the registration is complete. Parents may sign for minor children (17 years old or younger), but all registrants 18 years and older MUST sign for themselves acknowledging pool registration.

    C. If the resident has a caregiver for their child or adult, they must be registered with the SHMHA office by way of email, Monday through Friday during office hours (7:30 AM-4:00 PM) prior to visiting the pool and only this person would be permitted to use the pool while accompanying the resident. This provision is only for a resident(s) that is a mentally/physically challenged child/adult or an elderly adult needing assistance. The caregiver must be 18 years or older if a child is 13 years of age or younger.

    D. Unit owners and their residents delinquent in assessment payments or in violation of any rules WILL NOT be permitted admittance.

    II. RULES AND REGULATIONS

    A. All CDC and State of Pennsylvania COVID-19 restrictions apply and may impact opening and closing of the pool, the number of admissions permitted, limited pool sessions, social distancing, etc. Additionally, SHMHA has the right to change and/or alter the hours of operation according to weather, lack of staffing, or due to other circumstances.

    B. Residents must place all trash in the receptacle in the garage before exiting the pool.
